The most prestigious and longest-running tournament series on the US online poker calendar is back, running for 18 days between September 9-26, 2022.
US-based players currently following the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) with intense FOMO should instead start preparing for the most exciting 18 days on the US online poker calendar.
The renowned US Championship of Online Poker (US COOP) returns in September and promises to be the biggest and best yet, with $4.5 million guaranteed in prizes over more than 200 events across the three markets: Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey.
And as if the US COOP wasn’t already the most illustrious online series in the States, PokerStars has made some changes to ensure the series is more prestigious than ever.
WHAT’S NEW IN 2022?
There are now 18 trophy events in each liquidity (similar to the Championship events added to the WCOOP 2022 schedule) and the three Main Event champions will each receive a 24-karat gold-plated trophy. Moreover, the top finisher on each state leaderboard will also receive a trophy.
But that’s not all.
PokerStars is also giving away six Platinum Passes to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) worth $180,000 in value throughout the series. The passes will be up for grabs to those who earn points across all poker game segments, as well as through PokerStars Sportsbook and Casino.
And for the first time, US COOP 2022 is offering tournaments in three formats which have already proved very popular on the regular schedule:
- Adrenaline Tournaments
- 3-Max Tournaments
- Last-Man Standing Tournaments
